Quite possibly my favorite memory was after a debriefing party in NYC, a couple team members from the project and Mike Shepherd climbed into a taxi for a ride from the bar to the hotel where we were staying. Always willing to take one for the team, Todd took the front seat of the cab and proceeded to make some pretty classic Todd-style banter with the cabbie with highlights including offering to answer his phone, critiquing the route and making some choice banter with us in the back. Again, I'm sure that this is one of those had-to-be-there moments but for me, it was just such a perfect instance of Todd.
Beyond those little moments that I still look back and and laugh to myself about, I won't forget those times in between, whether struggling with extremely difficult projects or going to get our Gold Quill in NYC. Todd showed the way with such humor and aplomb that it's hard to imagine getting through those moments without.
And although I lament the fact that he is no longer available to throw in a thought on a project, I am more the excited for him and his new adventure and extremely proud that he is willing to take that step onward.
